How does your AI photo booth work?

Our AI photo booth is designed to be quick and easy to use. You step into the photo booth and answer 1 to 2 short questions that match the theme of the event. Next, choose one or two options that determine the style of the image. Based on your answers, our AI automatically generates a unique and creative image. Then you can print the image immediately and receive it digitally via the QR code. This way, you'll have a personalized AI photo in your hands and on your phone within minutes.

How does your AI photo booth differ from other photo booths?

Our AI photo booth offers unique opportunities that you won't find in others. Unlike many other AI photo booths, we can recognize and process multiple people in one photo at the same time. The images generated are in high 4K quality, with sharp facial recognition for realistic results. In addition, we support both direct offline print and digital transmission via QR code. What really sets us apart is that you can add countless AI-driven extras to our service — from personalized themes to creative effects — to make your event truly memorable. What is a personalized package for the AI photo booth?

With a personalized package, you decide in which style the AI images are created. We fully adapt the appearance of the photos to the theme of your event. For example, if your event has the theme “Masterpieces”, we can train the AI to generate photos in the style of famous painters such as Van Gogh or Rembrandt. This way, all visitors receive unique photos that perfectly match your event concept. Most themes are possible as long as they don't infringe copyright or copyright.

What kind of background do you need?

We need a background where no people walk behind or are visible. A fixed wall or a branded background is perfect, as long as there are no faces or people in the background. This is because our AI processes everything in the photo, including people in the background. To get the best results, a calm and smooth background is best.

What formats are available for the photo prints?

You can choose between two personalized formats:
‍15x5 cm: with both the original photo and AI editing
‍10x15 cm: AI image only
Both are printed directly on site. In addition to a physical print, guests also receive their photo digitally via email or a QR code. This way, they can easily share or save the image on social media. For more setup details, feel free to view this file.

Setup Details

What are the technical requirements and what information do we need to provide?

The AI photo booth requires a stable internet connection (at least 300 kbps) to make optimal use of all functions such as digital sharing, email collection and real-time analytics. In addition, at least one EU socket is required for the power supply. For good preparation, we ask for the start screen design in 16:9 ratio, the chosen print template (15x5 cm or 10x15 cm) and — in the case of a personalized package — the desired AI theme or event concept, so that we can put together a mood board and adjust the AI accordingly.

How do we book, and when do we need to make a reservation?

You can easily book via our email or phone. We recommend booking at least a few weeks in advance, especially during busy periods. Last-minute bookings are sometimes also possible — feel free to contact us.

How long can we use the photo booth at our event?

The booth can be used flexibly, with a minimum purchase of 4 hours. We also offer half-day or full days. For each additional hour in addition to the basic price of 4 hours, we charge an additional €100 per hour.

Is there staff present to supervise the photo booth?

That's up to you. Our photo booth is very user-friendly and works like a self-service kiosk, so guidance is not strictly necessary. If you still want someone present, we offer a professional host as an extra option. This host welcomes guests, explains how to use them, encourages interaction, and promptly resolves any technical issues. Many customers choose a host for a completely worry-free experience — but the choice is yours.

Is there a limit to the number of photos or prints during the event?

No, during the booked period, you can make unlimited use of the photo booth. Guests can come back as often as they like, and each session provides both a print and a digital copy — at no extra cost. This way, no one has to worry about limits and everyone gets a unique memory to take home.

How fast does the AI generate the images? Do guests have to wait long?

The AI generates the images very quickly. Usually, it only takes 20 to 30 seconds for the edited AI photo to be ready. By the time the guest leaves the booth, the print is often ready or available digitally. So there is no long waiting time, so the experience runs smoothly and there are no long queues.
Extra tip: While waiting, you can optionally show an ad or promotional video on the screen. This is the time when guests look closely at the screen — a perfect opportunity to bring your brand or message into focus!

What support do you offer during the event in case of problems?

At WeSmile, we ensure that your event runs smoothly. If you book an on-premise host, they will resolve technical questions or issues on the spot. Have you opted for a self-service booth? Don't worry — our team remains available remotely and monitors live if necessary. You'll receive a direct contact number for quick help, and we can often resolve or supervise issues remotely. We do everything we can to prevent problems, but are always ready to intervene immediately if necessary.
