At a major tech event in 2025, Google Cloud set out to spotlight Nordic creativity — not with data charts, but with emotions, memories, and imagination. Their goal was to show that the cloud doesn’t just power systems — it powers storytelling, culture, and innovation.

The WeSmile Concept

To bring this vision to life, WeSmile designed a one-of-a-kind AI experience inspired by Nordic childhood classics. Using our AI Photobooth, attendees stepped into magical reinterpretations of beloved stories — reimagined through generative AI.

Each guest was transformed into a whimsical scene inspired by Nordic tales such as:

• ‍Pippi Longstocking – standing strong in a colorful chaos of adventure
• Ronja Rövardotter – running wild through enchanted forests
• Karlsson on the Roof – flying above Scandinavian rooftops
• ‍Mio, My Son Mio – set in a dreamy fantasy realm
• Vi på Saltkråkan – basking in peaceful island life
• And many more, like Emil in Lönneberga and Nils Karlsson Pyssling

Each scene was not just an image — but a Nordic moodboard of childhood wonder, powered by Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure behind the scenes.
